Every debate commits a direction — we never sit one out. So the only question that matters is whether those calls beat simply beting on whatever each market does most of the time.

Days when the market barely moved are excluded from these percentages but still counted as forecasts, so committing to a direction every day earns nothing on a quiet one.
Nobody is ranked yet — and that's the honest answer.
We've graded 0 calls. We need about 450 independent ones before any result here could be told apart from luck, and at least 30 per analyst before we'll print a number beside their name.
Until then, whoever sits top of a table like this is almost certainly there by chance — and early leaders nearly always fade. We'd rather show you an empty table than a meaningless one.

Ranked by how much better they did than the pre-registered base-rate forecast on the same calls — so an analyst who only speaks on easy days gets no free credit.

What "better than the benchmark" means exactly
For every call we compute a score (lower is better) for the forecast and for each simple benchmark — always guessing the historical average, always guessing yesterday repeats, a coin-flip spread across three outcomes, and a mechanical indicator model with no AI in it at all. We then take the best of those benchmarks on that same call and subtract. A positive average means the analyst genuinely beat the best simple alternative; zero means they added nothing. Ranges shown are 95% confidence intervals, corrected for the fact that testing 27 analysts at once will throw up false winners by chance.
