On 29 July 2026 we said Copper (front contract) would most likely be higher by next week’s close. Here's the evidence we haven't touched it since.

Our odds by next week’s close: 37% higher · 34% quiet / little change direction not meaningful · 29% lower

Before publishing, we ran this forecast through a one-way fingerprinting function and registered the result with independent timestamping services we don't control. Change so much as one digit of the forecast and the fingerprint changes completely — and it would no longer match the one those outside services recorded on 29 July 2026.

Status: forecast hash submitted for independent timestamping.

You don't have to take our word for any of this. Open the raw record and check the fingerprint yourself.

How to check it yourself, step by step
Fetch /api/verify/161abbfbd80a264b. Take the commitment object, serialise it with all keys sorted alphabetically at every level, and take the SHA-256 hash of that text. It must equal the commit_hash field. The anchors array holds OpenTimestamps proofs that this exact hash existed at the stated time — verify them with any OpenTimestamps client, which checks them against the Bitcoin blockchain rather than against us.
